9U-10U defend
CHOOSE A PRINCIPLE
1v1 Defending (9U-10U)
The defending player attempts to regain possession of the ball but without overcommitting and allowing attacker to get behind. If the defender is unable to regain possession, they should make the attacker go backward.
- Notes for video: Notice the defender approaches the attacker with speed but always under control. They are in stance which allows them to react to the attacker's every move.
