11U-19U Boys Director of Coaching - South

Levi Boggess has extensive coaching experience in Colorado (Westminster AFC, Colorado Storm and CRYSC). He played two years at Metro State College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. After his time at Metro, I played on different semi professional indoor and outdoor teams in the Denver area. In his time as a coach, he has worked with players in all levels of the state and led a TOPSoccer program for two years. He currently holds a USSF C License and is currently working on his USC Premier Diploma. In 2021, he aims to complete his USC Instructor’s diploma and begin working with coaches to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a coach. He enjoys coaching youth players to see their growth in soccer and their development as young adults off the field. Levi believes that all players should have access to soccer and they should be empowered to play to their full potential.

Competitive Administrator - South

Leah is a Colorado native who grew up on the Western Slope playing on various different competitive teams, including Utah Avalanche '97 ECNL. She continued her career and education at the University of Denver from 2015-2019. There she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender and Journalism. After graduating, Leah went on to work at Ole Football Academy in New Zealand, where she also played on a semi-professional team. After coming back to the states in 2020, Leah knew she missed not only the game itself, but the community the game of soccer brings you. It wasn't until the Fall of 2021 when Leah became the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Women's team at Colorado Mesa University where they were RMAC Regular Season Co-Champions. In March of 2022, Leah moved back to the Front Range with hopes of still coaching and working towards higher coaching licenses with the support of CRYSC and Chris Gartside with the Rising Rapids Program.

Competitive Administrator - South

Joey Carson first fell in love with soccer when he realized he would be too short for basketball. He played collegiately in Ottawa, Kansas before transferring to Kansas State University where he began coaching high school soccer. He met his wife, Katelyn, and son, Stan (mini Australian shepherd) during his time in Manhattan, Kansas. He then followed his wife out to Denver, so she could pursue pharmacy while he began coaching for the Rapids. He hopes to continue helping the club move in a positive direction, both on and off the field.
